Why we exist
Mission and vision
Mission
Help brand teams pick creators they can defend, with every score’s sums and quotes in view.
Vision
Creator decisions made on fit and evidence, not follower counts.
How a score is built
The rules behind every score
3 parts
Product match, audience quality and past performance add up to every score.
50 / 30 / 20
The starting weights of the three parts.
2 criteria
A score needs at least two of your product’s criteria backed by evidence.
45 and 90 days
Data is marked stale after 45 days and left out of the score after 90.
From the founder
Why we built it
I have spent almost 30 years putting technology to work for media and entertainment. I was CIO at Sony Music India, then ran digital at Zee, where I set up a new business to take its shows to the web, to phones and to social media. Since 2012, my team at Appetals has built more than 100 products for founders and large companies.
Across all of that work, one thing held true. People trust a number when they can see how it was made. Influencer marketing still runs on numbers nobody can explain: a follower count, a guess, a list from last year.
Picture the meeting where someone asks, “Why this creator?” You open the score. You show the sums, the quotes from real posts, and the gaps marked as gaps. The room stops guessing and starts deciding.
That is the moment we built Instafluence for. You make the call, and you can show why.
