Who this covers

Last updated: 5 November 2026.

Instafluence (“we”) helps brands and agencies find creators and check that they fit a product. This policy covers three groups of people: visitors to this website, people who use the product through a client account, and creators whose public profiles are in our index.

If you visit this website

We count page views and a few actions, such as clicks on a trial button. We set no cookies for this. We never store your IP address. To stop abuse, a scrambled form of the address counts requests for one hour, and then it is deleted. We keep the counts for 90 days.

If you send us a form, we keep what you write, such as your name, work email, brand details and message. We use it only to reply, and we keep it for 12 months. We also email you to confirm that we got it.

Cloudflare protects this website and checks that forms come from people. To do that it may read your IP address and browser details, and set a small security cookie.

If you use the product

We hold your name, work email, phone number, country, city and role. We also hold the brand’s name and website, how you heard of us, the roles you have, the brands you can see, your sign-in history and a log of what you do in the product. When a client owner accepts the terms, we record the name, the date and the version.

Your client’s own work is also stored here: fit profiles, lists, notes, messages, deals, fees and drafts. Only your client can see it. Our support team can read it only when your client owner allows that, and they read it for as long as that access lasts.

If you are a creator

We collect what anyone can see on your public profile: your handle, follower count, and your posts with their captions, views, likes and comments, each with its date. Clients use this to judge whether you fit their product.

If you connect your account when a brand asks, we also hold what you share through that connection. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and we then delete what the connection gave us.

A score never uses your gender, age, appearance, religion, caste, community or health. We don’t estimate your age or gender. A client’s private notes about you belong to that client. If you ask about them, we pass your request to the client.

Why we use your data

We use it to run the product and this website, to reply to you, to keep accounts secure and stop abuse, to measure how the product is used, and to follow the law.

For people in places that ask for a legal basis, such as the EU and the UK, ours are: the contract with a client; our legitimate interest, and our clients’, in finding suitable creators from public data; your consent, where you connect an account; and our legal duties.

AI

AI reads a creator’s posts and bio against a product’s criteria, drafts messages and answers questions. A person can accept, edit or reject what it suggests, and it never contacts a creator or spends money by itself.

We use models from providers such as Anthropic and Google, reached through OpenRouter or the provider’s own service. We use providers only on terms that don’t train on client data, and they keep it for the shortest period they offer. We never use a client’s private data to train any AI model.

Who sees your data

Clients can see creators’ public data in the shared index. One client can never see another client’s private work.

We share data with companies that help us run the service, such as those for hosting, website protection, email, collecting public data and AI. They may use it only to do that work. We also share data when the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or if the business is sold or merged.

We don’t sell the personal data of visitors or of people who use the product.

How long we keep it

These are our standard periods. A client can shorten some of them for its own records.

Raw collected public data: 30 days. Totals worked out from it stay longer. Connected-account data: while consent lasts. YouTube data is refreshed at least every 30 days, and other platforms’ data is kept up to 24 months after the last collaboration. Deals, contracts and fees: 24 months after the last activity. Messages and notes: 24 months after the last contact. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep a small record so that we can respect it. AI inputs and outputs: 30 days, and the record that a run happened for at least 1 year. Audit logs: 3 years.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct or delete it. A creator can also ask us to stop collecting their public profile. We check that the request is yours and answer within one calendar month. An opt-out covers our shared index and our collection. It doesn’t remove a client’s own records.

Depending on where you live, you may have other rights. In India you can name someone to use your rights for you, raise a grievance with us, and then go to the Data Protection Board of India. In the EU and the UK you can object to some uses, limit them, move your data, and complain to your data protection authority. In California you can ask what we hold and how we use it, and you won’t be treated worse for asking.

Moving data between countries

We and the companies that help us may handle data outside your country. Where the law asks for it, we use a lawful way to move it.

Security

Each client’s data is kept apart, and we test that one client can’t reach another’s. Access depends on a person’s role, and this website uses HTTPS. No system is completely safe, so we can’t promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

Children

Accounts are for adults who use the product for work. If you think we hold a child’s data, tell us and we will look into it and remove it where we should.

Changes to this policy

We will change the date at the top when we change this policy, and post the new version here.
