Link posts and check disclosure

Link a creator’s live post to track its stats and check its disclosure. We check when you link it and each time we take its stats.

Link a post

1. Choose Link live post.

2. Pick the deliverable and paste the post link.

3. Choose Link post.

If the post is by a different creator, we tell you. Check the link, or link it anyway.

What disclosure checks

The platform’s paid-partnership label must be on.

An accepted tag, such as #ad, must be in the caption’s first line, among its first three hashtags. #collab or #sp alone doesn’t count.

A video needs a label on screen. A person confirms it.

How long a video label must show

At least 3 seconds on videos up to 15 seconds. A third of the running time on videos up to 2 minutes. Through the whole brand part on longer videos.

When a post fails

A failed check starts a 48-hour window to fix it. After that, brand managers are told.

Choose Ask creator to fix. Copy the message and send it on Instagram yourself, then mark it sent. We never send messages for you.

Enter stats by hand

If we can’t read a post’s stats, choose Enter stats by hand. You can attach PNG or JPEG screenshots. We keep them with the figures but don’t read them. The figures show as entered by hand.
