Performance marketers

Pick creators on fit and past results.

Search and social ads come with bidding, targeting and reporting built in. Creator programmes often run on messages and memory. Instafluence gives you numbers you can compare and check, so you can judge creators alongside your other channels.

Your week

You judge each channel by what it delivers

  • The plan

You want to know what a creator will cost for the views they bring. A follower count doesn’t tell you, and quotes come in many shapes.

  • The numbers

Each social platform reports in its own way, so someone rebuilds the report by hand, and creators are hard to compare fairly.

  • The boost

A post is working and you want to put paid money behind it. First you need to know if the rights allow it, and those terms are somewhere in an old email.

  • The rebook

Before you book someone again, you want to know who beat their usual views and who only looked good once.

What changes

The numbers you’d work from here

  • The plan

Estimate the cost per 1,000 views before you agree.

Enter a quote with at least one Reel, and we use the creator’s usual Reel views to estimate its cost per 1,000 views. You can then compare creators of different sizes on one measure.

  • The numbers

Read each post at the same points.

We take stats for linked feed posts and videos at 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. Results also estimate what the same views would have cost as ads, though platforms count views and ad views in different ways.

  • The boost

Check the rights, and keep paid views apart.

When you add a boost, the form tells you if the deal’s usage rights don’t include ads. Paid views show apart from the post’s own views, so a boost doesn’t flatter the creator’s result.

  • The rebook

Ask who beat their usual views.

Ask in plain words, and answers show the records and dates they use. Past performance is also one of the three parts of a fit score, where there’s data for it.

Suitability now counts for more than size

Asked for the most important factor when selecting creators, more marketers chose brand suitability than follower count.
